Our founder, Tommy, first encountered EMS technology while working part-time in a sports shop, Right at the entrance sat a sleek EMS device from a Japanese brand endorsed by none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. Curious customers, especially women, often stopped by to ask, “Why do you have a naked Ronaldo in front of the shop?” Despite its appeal, the steep endorsement fees made this EMS device cost around $400.
After graduating, Tommy joined Microsoft, where a better paycheck meant more indulgent meals, and long hours at the desk led to weight gain and an expanding waistline. Realizing it was time for a change, Tommy committed to the gym and quickly shed 10 kilograms within two months. Yet, as soon as he stopped working out, the weight crept back. This time, he added EMS to his routine, which boosted his muscle mass and increased his daily resting energy expenditure, helping him maintain a healthier physique even outside the gym.
After leaving job in 2021 due to depression...Tommy decided to channel his passion for fitness and knowledge of EMS technology into his own brand. Thus, 8Pack was born—with a mission to make EMS devices more affordable, accessible, and effective for everyone.
